Suspicious Incident

At 11:20 this morning (18/09) a male cold-called an address on Moors Lane area of St Martins. 

The male offered to resurface the resident's drive after claiming to have a surplus of tarmac at hand, initially quoting £28 per sq yard then dropping the price to £8 per sq yard.

The male gave a poor cover story and the resident was able to successfully question the story , that put the male off.

The male left the area and no monies were passed. The male left in a grey Subaru Outback 10 plate SUV.

Residents; please remain vigilant at home and the area that you live to deter such behaviour.
